This prestigious competition is one of the showpiece events in the business calendar, recognising and promoting the best of British business through a series of regional heats, culminating in a Gala Awards Dinner, which will take place at the Brewery, London on 30 November.
“Businesses are the driving force of the UK economy, creating jobs, growth and prosperity, and helping Britain to maintain its reputation internationally. This is exactly why it is important for us to recognise and celebrate the contribution they make to their local communities and the wider economy." Francis Martin, President of the British Chambers of Commerce
Selected from hundreds of entries, Epos Now were announced the East region champions, one of nine across the country, and the only business to not be a member of the Chamber of Commerce. The 'Commitment to People Development' award recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence in the promotion and implementation of a learning and development culture.

Judges examined a number of employee engagement indicators in the business including;
- Why learning and development is important to the organisation
- How training needs and skills requirements are assessed
- Investment, commitment and support given to staff
- Direct benefit gained by both individuals and the organisation
The award was presented to Epos Now’s COO Hayley Johnson, HR and Recruitment Manager, Micheal Cassanova and HR Director, Claudia Bangs, at our Norwich headquarters, where they received a regional winners certificate. Regional winners will now go on to battle it out for the national title in their category, with one national winner picking up the Business of the Year award, and with it the accolade of opening the London Stock Exchange when we launch the 2018 programme on the 1st March 2018.
“We know our people are our best asset, which is why there is such an onus on creating a dynamic vibrant company culture that nurtures innovation and celebrates success. It’s fantastic to receive this recognition as one of the leading employers in the area. We’re increasingly facing new challenges as the business expands, but will remain committed to ensuring our employees are at the heart of what we do.” Hayley Johnson, Epos Now COO
