Computing's Cloud Excellence Awards aim to recognise the very best of the UK's cloud industry, from the most innovative and compelling products and vendors, through to the top use cases from end-user firms.
Used properly, the cloud can enable organisations to be fast to respond to changing market conditions and to experiment with new ideas, products and tools. It can be an incredibly efficient way to set up new infrastructure and platforms, or to remove the management overhead of parts of the IT estate the business would prefer not to keep in-house.
An exciting evening saw some of the best companies in the cloud industry awarded for their achievements. A glittering event was held at the Hilton London Tower Bridge honouring the people and businesses shortlisted 16 categories. Winners including big names such as Microsoft, IBM and Arcus Global. You can see the full shortlist here.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have been named Cloud Entrepreneur of the year! It’s been a fantastic evening meeting other best in class cloud companies. The cloud has the power to revolutionise how small and independent businesses run, effectively cutting costs, driving revenue and boosting profits. It’s fantastic to have been recognised for our commitment to these small businesses, having been in their position just 6 years ago.” Jacyn Heavens, Epos Now CEO
