The EY Entrepreneurs programme is a search for “entrepreneurs who have the courage passion for making their dreams a reality, for building something of lasting value that brings real benefits to an industry or sector.” The programme celebrates men and women who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses. The awards are a celebration of their success, the contribution they’re making to the economy and the legacy they’re building.
Following a semi-finalists interview in March, Jacyn has been shortlisted as a finalist for London and the South region. The next stage of the competition is an opportunity for finalists to showcase their entrepreneurial talent and celebrate business achievements in front of a panel of independent judges. Jacyn will also take part in roundtable discussions with his fellow finalists, discussing topics affecting today's business leaders.
“I’m over the moon to have been shortlisted for this award! I couldn’t be prouder of how Epos Now has grown in 6 short years and this is just the beginning. The biggest risk to my business is the failure of other businesses, so I plan to use this platform as an opportunity to champion SMEs, leveraging the power of cloud technology to level the playing field and protect the diversity of our high-streets.” Jacyn Heavens, CEO.
As a 2017 finalist, Jacyn is one of 27 in the region and 97 across the UK. This years’ finalists, in total, make a substantial and significant impact on the growth and well-being of our economy, employing 35,000 people and generating a combined revenue of £4.1bn.
