Over the last few weeks our software team has been working on some brilliant new features under-the-hood. We can't wait to share these with you in the coming week. However, this week we have two great new software features which are available right now in your Back Office.
All users are now able to create additional logins from their main account.
The purpose of this is to allow the setting of different access rights per login. For example, a master account will have access to all areas and functions of the Back Office and till. This master account may create further additional-logins with limited access, such as a login which is only able to view reports, a login only able to access the till and so on.
You are now able to redeem customer points for a customer for a previous transaction.
The purpose of this is to allow a customer to gain points earned from a transaction they carried out previously but for some reason could not be added at the time of the transaction, for example if the till was in offline mode.
In order to redeem points against a customer after a transaction has been made, the customer will need to be selected from the customer selection screen within the till as shown by in the image below, highlighted as ‘1’.
Once this has been done, you scan the barcode of the receipt for the transaction to be credited to the customer in the input box at the bottom left of the screen, and then pressing ‘Redeem’. This will apply the points to the customer.
