The Lord-Lieutenant is the Queen's representative in Norfolk, an honourable position whose foremost duty is to uphold the dignity of the crown. The Lord-Lieutenant arrived in full ceremonial dress in honour of the prestige of the Queen’s Award, which recognises excellence among British businesses. The awards are announced annually on the monarch’s birthday, April 21.
After a brief tour of the office and discussion with Jacyn, the Lord-Lieutenant addressed Epos Now's employees to congratulate them on their collective success. He thanked them for their contribution and noted the significance of their achievements in short speech.
“Epos Now is a true Norfolk success story, bringing value to the customers they serve, as well as the team who design and create the innovations that revolutionise these businesses. Never content with resting on their laurels, they strive to become the name synonymous with EPOS excellence, committed to improving the lives and businesses of SMEs the world over. The tremendous growth they’ve experienced has fueled their ambitions and seen them establish successfully in America. Their investment in their people and commitment to their Norwich headquarters shows they’re loyal to their roots, and this is where the heart of the business will remain.” Mr Richard Jewson, J.P, Lord-Lieutenant for Norfolk
Deputy Lieutenant, Melinda Raker, read the Grant of Appointment on behalf of her Royal Highness the Queens and signed by former Prime Minister, David Cameron. The presentation concluded with a few words from Jacyn.
“What an honour to receive this award. This marks a huge milestone in the history of our business. This is a testament to how hard we’ve tried over the past five years. This award is for all of us.” Jacyn Heavens, Epos Now, CEO.
