The Norwich Lanes are a series of alleyways and open communal spaces with some of the UK’s finest medieval architecture. Today the lanes are home to a thriving independent retail area and a vast array of cafes, restaurants and bars. Mainly pedestrianised, the lanes offers something for everyone. A highlight in the city’s event calendar, the Norwich Lanes Fayre regularly attracts over 15,000 visitors.
The Fayre, which has been running since 2008, is a celebration of independent business and an opportunity for visitors to enjoy a vibrant array of art, music, food and culture on Sunday 9th of July. Coinciding with the popular Lord Mayor's procession on Saturday 8th, the weekend promises to be a great event for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
“As a Norwich business, it’s a real honour to be involved in a community event like Norwich Lanes that supports small and independent businesses in the area. SMEs are crucial to the ecosystem of our local economy, so it’s imperative we support them in any way we can. The partnership between Epos Now and the Norwich Lanes Association was a natural fit, as we collectively seek to improve the profitability of the SME community.” Jacyn Heavens, CEO Epos Now.
The Norwich Lanes Association is a voluntary and community organisation dedicated to the preservation of the area.
