The Lotus Awards are a unique event that recognise companies that are demonstrably investing in their workplace culture. As one of 52 winners from across the globe, Epos Now was invited to the event to meet the other companies at an informal award ceremony held in London’s Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts.
Launched in 2016 and the brainchild of Engage International founder, James Murphy, the Lotus Awards have turned the traditional awards format on its head. These awards recognise the value of a unique company culture, meaning there were no categories and no shortlist, just the opportunity to let companies shine.
“I launched The Lotus Awards to celebrate and embrace culture and engagement in a holistic way. It’s about understanding that every company is unique. The Lotus Awards shine a light on all the companies that are trying to nurture and develop their culture, making it more collaborative, investing in learning and development, and helping their employees develop themselves – these are the concepts we want to promote. Ultimately, we mean to inspire organisations across the world to do better while respecting their uniqueness.” James Murphy, The Lotus Awards.
Content writer, Erin Heenan, collected the award on behalf of the team following a written submission documenting Epos Now’s commitment to employee engagement. Epos Now prides itself on being different from other employers, offering a diverse range of training and professional development opportunities, providing our workforce with a portfolio of skills designed to benefit our customers and encourage personal growth.

In keeping with the theme of individuality, the award trophy was a little different to regular award ceremonies, with each winner receiving a personalised quote on their award. Epos Now’s trophy was emblazoned with “Epos Now: Aligning company goals with employees personal aspirations” a direct quote taken from Epos Now's company mission statement
“The Lotus Awards were a great opportunity to learn best practice from professionals across the sectors and really celebrate the huge scope of achievements of companies that truly value their employees. From startup to Europe's 46th fastest growing company in just 6 years, Epos Now has added value to the lives and businesses of it's customers by creating a dynamic company culture that fosters creativity and celebrates achievement.” Erin Heenan, Content Writer
