Take a look at some of the system amendments and updates released today;
Product Add (Beta): We have refreshed the Product pages for an improved user experience that allows you to add and edit products on the same page. This is currently in Beta meaning you can opt in by clicking the ‘Turn on products BETA’ toggle at the top of the Product List page.
If you want to stick with the old system simply take no action. If you have any feedback please let us know by filling in the popup that appears if you disable BETA.
Product Add Master Products: Adding and changing master product compositions is now much easier. Live searching allows products to be found much quicker and adding them no longer causes the page to re-load.
Full EOD Reports in the back office:You can now view and reprint your end-of-day back office reports. Please note that full reports will only be available for EODs performed after the release.
Multiple choice Min/Max selection: You can now specify a minimum and/or maximum number of products which can be selected for each multiple choice product group. Eg only one free beer is added to a beer & burger deal or making sure at least one topping is selected for a pizza.
Support account details: Your customer account number is now shown on the front till and back office contact pages. This will also show the contact details for your support service.
Fixed category buttons: All top-level categories buttons are fixed to the top of the front page with the ability to scroll. This means you can jump straight from one section to another, such as ‘Mains’ to ‘Drinks’ without having to go back via the home screen first. Enable this new feature within the till settings screen.
Multi-location apps: You can now have location specific apps. When installing a multi-location app, simply tick the relevant locations.
Product Plus stock info: Product Plus (press and long hold) has a new button ‘Stock Info’ which takes you straight to the Stock Lookup page for that product, perfect for quickly checking stock at other locations.
Staff permissions update:New permission to show the ‘Remove from table’ and ‘Remove from tab’ buttons in table plan.
Multiple Choice Product Report: A new report showing the combinations of products sold with multiple choice products. This allows you to identify trends, see which optional products sell better and what options are commonly bought together.
New currency:The Dominican Peso is now an available currency on Epos Now systems.
Please be aware UK customers operating our old systems will no longer be able to use the software from 1st April 2018. Affected customers can still upgrade to Athena and our Service team will be in touch. US customers will not be affected.
