To make it onto the the European Business Awards List the judges look for exceptional growth, significant innovation, and an ethical approach to business.
“It’s a great honour to have made the UK Ones to Watch list, having been a former UK champion and finalists who attended the showcase in Rome. I’ve seen the calibre of the businesses involved and I’m proud Epos Now is included among them.” Hayley Johnson, COO, Epos Now

Since 2007, EBA’s have been rewarding innovators, the success stories, and the ethical entrepreneurs of European business. The Awards exist because business has a key role to play in tackling the major issues faced by Europe and the world: from unemployment to climate and environmental challenges, from conflict to poverty. By creating stronger, more successful, innovative and ethical business communities will help address these changes.
"We want a strong Europe and you [the European Business Awards] are participating in the process of building a strong Europe piece by piece" Christine Lagarde, Head of the IMF
The programme endorses and promotes Europe’s best businesses to help them attract new customers, partners, talent and investors; that in turn creates jobs and opportunity in society. These learning are shared to help businesses overcome the hurdles that stand between them and growth.
This approach has led the European Business Awards to become one of the largest cross-industry business competitions in the world, operating in 35 countries and generating worldwide interest in our winners.
Other companies to have made the list in the past include previous winners and finalists. These include household names; from BMW to IKEA, Zurich to Leroy Merlin. The scheme is also proud of discovering and showcasing companies that were not as well-known and bringing them greater prominence. From Deezer to Criteo, Tangle Teezer to Rimac, SamHall to Coffee Island, The Cambridge Satchel Company to Brompton Bicycles.
