We are pleased to announce that the following updates to your Epos Now software will be available this week!
Offline Order Printing on the Till App now prints the exact same information as the Online Order Printing:
Now if the Till takes too long to reach our servers, the Till will automatically switch to offline mode. This prevents any further sluggishness, and allows the till to operate as normal until the internet speed improves.
Purchase Orders can now be saved as drafts, can be cancelled and can be manually marked as "received". Drafts will allow you to save a set of products you wish to order and then later edit the Ordered amounts or Cancel it altogether before placing the order.
To make repeat orders quicker any existing Purchase Order can be duplicated into as a new draft, by selecting "Duplicate as Draft" at the top of the Purchase Orders page.
Multiple choice products works in a similar way to multiple choice notes. When a specified product is chosen a popup is displayed on the till allowing the user to select additional chargeable add-ons. For example, one of your products might be ‘Pizza’ and you could have the choice of adding ‘Extra Cheese’ for 50p or ‘Pineapple Slice’ for a £1 and your stocks of cheese and pineapple would be tracked for this. You can even set up the products to have multiple layers of choices, so your Pizza might first ask for Base, then Sauce, then Toppings; all with separate options.
This is currently in beta testing, and is available free for all existing customers by going to the Advanced Options of a product.
A WebHook is a way of Epos Now servers communicating with other servers. This allows developers using the Epos Now API to develop more powerful software much more quickly. Webhooks are available to all users of the API, it is currently ion beta release.
When customers receive an emailed receipt they have the option to submit a satisfaction score with their purchase and interaction, as well as the ability to leave comments.
This information is collected in a new customer satisfaction report and dashboard, allowing businesses to track over time their satisfaction ratings, as well as to understand how they can improve and further boost their business.
To enable ratings set a rating message on the Receipt Info page in the Setup section of the Back Office.
