What is your business about and how did you get started?
The Zapper app allows customers to pay bills faster, split the bill, tip, leave feedback and get rewarded. All in seconds.
Customers scan a Zapper QR Code with their smartphone, pay, and in the process provides valuable insights into their habits captured in the venues Zapper portal. These insights can be measured, collated and marketed by venues to effectively improve service and build loyalty.
Zapper was launched by entrepreneurial technology enthusiasts with an aim of simplifying and speeding up the payment process when dining out. Our solution is now successfully operating in over 8,000 hospitality businesses worldwide.
What are your core values and mission?
Our mission at Zapper is to deliver a seamless mobile payment system for faster payments and a powerful marketing platform for businesses to communicate to their customers. Our long term aim is ubiquity. To achieve this we must continue to provide a service that is simple to comprehend and does not disrupt the normal dining out experience.

Looking ahead, consumers will demand a simple and seamless mobile experience across all verticals. While mobile payment apps are still relatively new to hospitality, we are already seeing them expand into many other verticals such as retail, FMCG, grocery and forecourts.
